LOSE TOUCH, the meaning, in word

LOSE TOUCH is a pure concept, both in that it was formed with wholly pure intentions, and also as a purely conceptual, unbound statement. To "lose touch" has often conjured up negative thoughts in the human psyche. When we think about "losing touch" our minds often turn to old friends, acquaintances, or family members that we haven't heard from or reached out to in some time. To "lose touch" can be synonymous with "letting go", and that's something that can be hard for us to do as people. Often times we don't like to let go, but it is necessary action for us to move forward. 

In our personal and collective life, there are many things we could lose touch with for our benefit. LOSE TOUCH with Fear. LOSE TOUCH with Doubt. LOSE TOUCH with ways of thinking that hold us back from reaching our potential as powerful creative beings.

LOSE TOUCH, the intention, in symbol

The primary symbols in our logo are the hands at the center of The Creation of Adam and God. Michelangelo's painting has long been interpreted as God and Adam reaching toward one another, a spark of life waiting to be born between them. But what if that spark already happened? What if the painting is showing Adam & God as they LOSE TOUCH? What if that spark isn't past or future tense, but rather, present tense. What if that spark of life, that moment of creation, is ever present in the Here & Now?

The intention behind LOSE TOUCH is to reclaim our power as creative beings, starting with the words and symbols we put out into the world every day. To take something with a seemingly negative association or connotation, and turn it into a powerful symbol of positivity in a world that so desperately needs this kind of awareness. There is a power that comes in realizing that any symbol or word can be viewed from infinite perspectives, interpreted through infinite lenses of perception. Through this, any symbol or word can be used for a powerful, positive purpose.

LOSE TOUCH, the purpose & mission

Our purpose is to help people, people just like us, but that may have lost touch with their purpose for being.  We strive to see an end to the absolutely unacceptable amount of homelessness here in the United States. With this as our  purpose, we work directly with and donate to reputable homeless outreach organizations as well as doing outreach ourselves.

Our mission, is to LOSE TOUCH with All Fear & All Doubt. And in doing so, alleviate suffering in the world around us.

This is just the beginning.
